KULĀIA HOʻOILINA AWARD HONOREES
Molokaʻi Canoe Festivals’ Kulāia has renewed the tradition of honoring community leadership through a practice deeply rooted in culture and history. Each year, the Kulāia Committee selects community leader(s) from Molokaʻi who exemplify the values and way of life unique to our island, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. These honorees are recognized and celebrated as cultural treasures, respected for their contributions to our island home. By reviving this tradition of honoring our Hawaiian jewels, Kulāia invites the community to come together in celebration, showing gratitude to our leaders and their ʻohana.
